Director's Notes
It’s been 19 years since All Through The Night was first performed at Circle Theatre. This time, I am thankful for the partnership of Virginia Nettles as co-director & producer. In the 2004 production, she played the part of Violet. I’m glad she could put up with me!
I “retired” from Circle Theatre for a few years until Dixie Swim Club where I worked backstage and made biscuits! I hope to be permanently retired after this play - I’m old!
I am also grateful for the assistance of my talented husband, Paul. Even though he really wasn’t keen on coming out of “theatre retirement”, he supported me by building the set, helped paint, and constructed those 2 beautiful center stage benches (again), faux ticket booth, and trunk stand.
Special recognition also goes to Asher Bradshaw whose sound effects programming, help, and donated time and talents to this play were invaluable!
And finally, and just as importantly, the actors. First time actor youngsters and theatre seasoned adults, I thank you for your time and dedication to this play. I applaud all your hard work and sacrifices to put on this production for our community. Break-A-Leg! Merry Christmas everyone!
