Jeff Miller and his wife, Beth, live in Barnwell. They raised their two children, Kevin and Ashley, here. Jeff retired from Barnwell County District #45 in 2022 and, inexplicably, went right back to work for them, part-time. He was a 2-time Teacher of the Year, 4-time Region Coach of the Year (Tennis) and was selected to coach the South Team in the North/South Tennis Classic. After teaching honors and regular high school Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and Calculus--while coaching for 25 years--Jeff is now "semi-retired" but finds himself busier than ever as he is the sportswriter for The People-Sentinel Newspaper.
Jeff's Circle Theatre credits include Clown Car, SPAM-A-LOT, The Sound of Music, and Second Samuel. Jeff was on the big screen as an extra in Clint Eastwood’s The Mule and was in The Program with James Caan, Craig Sheffer, and Halle Berry. Jeff followed Beth (Producer/Director/Actor) and Ashley (Actor) to Circle Theatre. In addition to acting, Jeff served on the Circle Theatre board and was a sponsor of the Junior Board. Jeff and Beth have two beautiful granddaughters, Meredith and Hannah, who live in Irmo, SC with their Mommy, Danielle, and Daddy, Kevin. |
Brenda Chorn, a West Virginia gal, met Michael, a California guy, and they got married. They moved to the west coast, only to be there 3 1/2 years. They chose South Carolina as their next stop in 2005. Almost 3 years ago, they made their last stop in Barnwell as their forever home! They've lived here happily ever since.
Brenda is new to Circle Theatre. She decided to come audition for Death and Taxes not really expecting to be cast as she was in one play in high school (which she says was a long time ago, but we don't believe her). She's had a great time rehearsing for this show as laughter was never far off!
Brenda and Michael have two lovely daughters, a beautiful granddaughter, and a handsome grandson.

Some of her favorites include: I Don’t Live There Anymore, The Foreigner, An Evening of Culture, Love, Sex and the IRS, Nunsense 1 & 2, Steel Magnolias, The Charitable Sisterhood Christmas Spectacular, and The Dixie Swim Club.
She is a talented artist, both on stage and as a painter, and volunteers for many events in the community.
She is married to Chuck, and they have 2 sons, Bryan and Jamie.

He says putting on plays is fun and all, and he enjoys it, but it’s the people here that keep him coming back. He wants to say a thank you to everyone involved with this production and a huge thanks to the Circle Theatre for producing amazing shows every year!

She loves her work as a Chiropractic Assistant at Barnwell Chiropractic.
She has been married to Coley for 39 years and they have two children and three grandchildren, who are the light of their lives. They also have a small menagerie of dogs, horses, cows, donkeys, and chickens on their small farm. This is Donna’s fourth Circle Theatre play. She was Backwards Bobo, the backward talking clown, in Clown Car. Donna played the psychologist, Ms. Sawyer, who said Kris Kringle was crazy in Miracle on 34th Street. She also played the lead character, Edith, in Showtime at First Baptist.

Director's Notes
I want to start by thanking the cast and crew for all of their hard work and dedication over the last few months. It was no small task to learn all of their lines and become their characters. It is my hope that all that walk through the doors and come to see this show leave having been entertained and wanting to come back to see the next production we present at Circle Theatre. Michael
